Op welke manieren heeft Samsung het toestel verbeterd en waar moet je rekening mee houden, als je overweegt de S21 FE in huis te halen? 1. Kleiner, lichter en mooier Een subtiel, maar belangrijk verschil is dat de nieuwe Samsung S21 FE iets compacter is dan zijn voorganger. Het toestel heeft een kleiner 6,4 inch-scherm in plaats van 6,5 inch, is dunner én lichter dan de Galaxy S20 FE. Hierdoor is de telefoon handzamer en kun je m makkelijk met één hand bedienen. De nieuwe Fan Edition beschikt wel over een fraai amoled-scherm met een hoge resolutie én ververssnelheid van 120Hz. De beeldkwaliteit moet hierdoor – zoals we inmiddels van Samsung gewend zijn – dik in orde zijn. Het design van de S21 FE is afgeleid van de S21-telefoons en ziet er strak en – wat ons betreft – uniek uit. Het camera-eiland linksboven loopt door in de rand van de behuizing, waardoor alles als één geheel oogt. Leg je de S21 FE naast de S20 FE, dan ziet laatstgenoemde er bijna ouderwets uit. 2. Samsung S21 FE is sneller Bij een nieuwe smartphone hoort een nieuwe processor, en dat is ook bij de Samsung Galaxy S21 FE het geval. De telefoon wordt aangedreven door de Exynos 2100-chip, die we kennen van de reguliere S21, S21 Plus en S21 Ultra.
